"Fear the sins that you commit in secret"

Al-Zamakhshari narrates :

وعنه: اتقوا معاصي الله في الخلوات، فإن المشاهد هو الحاكم

ENGLISH:

Ali Ibn Abi Talib said: "Fear the sins that you commit in secret, because the Witness of those sins is the Judge Himself!"

NEDERLANDS:

Ali Ibn Abi Talib zei: "Vrees de zonden die je in het geheim verricht, want de getuige daarvan is de Rechter zelf!"
