What does he mean with, "I am the third Muslim." As it says, that he was the third person who accepted Islam? Or does it have another meaning. Because Khadija (radiya Allaahu 3anha) was the first Muslima (after the Prophet - sallAllaahu 3alayhi wa-Sallam) of course, then Abu Bakr as-Siddieq (radiya Allaahu 3anhoe) and then 'Aliy Ibn Abi Talib (radiya Allaahu 3anhoe). Or is there a difference in opinion about this issue? Meaning that not 'Aliy Ibn Abi Talib was the third Muslim but Sa'd Ibn Abi Waqqas (radiya Allaahu 3anhoe)?
Sa'd was the third man to enter into Islam, and I don't think there is any dispute about that. Ali was the first among the youth to enter Islam , and it's possible that only Abu Bakr proceded him (if we only count the male gender), wallaahu A'alam
Amazing, Subhanallah
ReplyDeleteIk begrijp deze niet? Zou je deze kunnen toelichten?

Wa'Alaykum As-Salaam,
ReplyDeleteSorry for the late reply , I was in Afghanistan
It means that he was the third person that reverted to Islam (among the men) , wallaahu A'alam!
Wasalam,
But, 'Aliy (radiya llaahoe 'anhoe) was the third muslim, right? I thought there was ichtilaaf about this issue.
