"If it wasn’t for the People of the mahabir"

Imaam Ash-Shaafi’ee said:

لولا أهل المحابر لخطبت الزنادقة على المنابر

"If it wasn’t for the People of the mahaabir (ink-pots) the heretics would have spoken upon manaabir (minbars)."
