واعلم أن أعدى عدو لك نفسك التي بين جنبيك، وقد خلقت أمارة بالسوء، ميالة إلى الشر، وقد أُمرت بتقويمها وتزكيتها وأن تقودها بسلاسل القهر إلى عبادة ربها

Some pious people have said: "Whoever commits a sin laughing will enter the Fire crying and whoever commits a sin while crying will enter the Paradise laughing."
