Mu'aawiyah bin Aws narrated:

رأيت هشام بن عمار إذا مشى أطرق إلى الأرض لا يرفع رأسه إلى السماء حياء من الله عز وجل

ENGLISH:

"I saw Hisham bin 'Ammar, and when he would walk in the street, he would look down to the ground, and he would never raise his head to the sky, out of shyness from Allah".

NEDERLANDS:

"Ik zag Hisham bin 'Ammar en wanneer hij op straat liep, keek hij altijd naar de grond en hij hief zijn hoofd nooit naar de hemel uit verlegenheid voor Allaah".
