"They abandon all that is innovated"

Imaam Al-Asbahaanee (535H) said:

قال الأصبهاني : شعار أهل السنة اتباعهم السلف الصالح وتركهم كل ما هو مبتدع محدث

ENGLISH:

"The sign of Ahlus-Sunnah is that they follow the Salafus-Saalih and abandon all that is innovated and newly introduced into the Deen."

NEDERLANDS:

"Een teken van Ahlus-Sunnah is dat zij de Salafus-Saalih (de vrome voorgangers) volgen en afstand nemen van alle nieuwe innovaties in de Deen".
