Ayoeb As-Sakhtiyanee said:

قال لي أبو قلابة : يا أبا أيوب احفظ عني ثلاث خصال : إياك وأبواب السلاطين، وإياك ومجالسة أصحاب الأهواء، والزم سوقك فإن الغنى من العافية

ENGLISH:

“Abu Qulabah said to me: ‘O Abu Ayub, take three characteristics from me: Beware of the doors of the rulers, beware of the gatherings of the people of desires, and stick with the market for affluence comes from well-being.’

NEDERLANDS:

"Abu Qulabah (rahimahullaah) zei tegen mij: "O Abu Ayub, neemt drie karakteristieken van mij: Behoed je van de deuren van de heersers; behoed je van de bijeenkomsten van de mensen van verlangens en blijft bij de handel want welvaart komt van welzijn".
