"Come immediately to the holy land"

Yahya bin Sa'ied said:

كتب أبو الدرداء رضى الله عنه وهو في الشام إلى سلمان الفارسي رضى الله عنه: أن هلم إلى الأرض المقدسة فكتب إليه سلمان إن الأرض لاتقدس أحداً،وإنما يقدس الإنسان عمله

ENGLISH:

"Abu'd-Darda was in the land of Ash-Shaam and he wrote to Salmaan al-Farsi, "Come immediately to the holy land." Salman wrote back to him, "Land does not make anyone holy. Man's deeds make him holy".

NEDERLANDS:

Abu Darda was in het land Ash-Shaam en hij schreef naar Salman Al-Farsi: "Kom naar het heilige land". Salman schreef terug: "Het land maakt niemand heilig, de mens wordt "heilig" (kuis) met zijn daden".
