"From you, no. But from Allaah, yes!"

Ayidh al-Qarni writes:

لما وُضِع إبراهيمُ في المنجنيقِ قال له جبريلُ : ألك إليَّ حاجةٌ ؟ فقال له إبراهيمُ : أمَّا إليك فلا ، وأمَّا إلى اللهِ فَنَعَمْ

ENGLISH:

"When Ibraheem was placed where the fire was to be set, the angel Jibreel came to him and asked: "Do you need anything from me?" Ibraheem confidently responded: "From you, no. But from Allaah, yes!"

NEDERLANDS:

"Toen [de ongelovigen] de Profeet Ibrahiem in het vuur aan het gooien waren, kwam Gibrail en vroeg: "Hebt u iets van mij nodig?" Ibrahiem zei: "Van u niet, van Allah wel".
