"He had the intention, he had the intention"

Abu Imran Al-Juni said:

بلغنا أن الملائكة تصف بكتبها في السماء الدنيا في كل عشية بعد العصر فينادى الملك : اكتب لفلان بن فلان كذا وكذا فيقول : يارب إنه لم يعمله فيقول : إنه نواه إنه نواه

ENGLISH:

"I have heard that the Angels in the wordly heaven write down all the actions (of the people). Al-Malik (Allah) wil say: "Write such and such deeds (under the name) of such and such individual". The Angels will say: "O our Lord, but he did not carry out this deed?" Allaah will say: "He had the intention (to do it), he had the intention (to do it)!"

NEDERLANDS:

"Ik heb gehoord dat de Engelen in de wereldse hemel na Asr (namidag) alle daden noteren, en Al Malik (Allah) zal zeggen: "Schrijf aan zus en zo, die en die goede daden toe". De engelen zullen zeggen: "Oh onze Heer! Hij heeft die daden niet uitgevoerd". Allah zal zeggen: "Hij had wel de intentie, hij had wel de intentie!"
