“Allah will ask you on the Day of Judgement"

Ar-Rabi' said:

وعظ الحسن يوما فانتحب رجل فقال الحسن : ليسألنك الله يوم القيامة ما أردت بهذا

ENGLISH:

"Hassan was admonishing people and someone sighed (loudly) in his presence (so that people might think he is Godfearing), so Hassan said: "Allah will ask you on the Day of Judgement what you realy meant by that".

NEDERLANDS:

"Hassan stond mensen te vermanen en een man ging in zijn aanwezigheid (hardop) zuchten (om over te komen als een godvrezende), dus Hassan zei tegen hem: "Allaah zal u op de Dag des Oordeels vragen wat u daarmee bedoelde".
