"His mistakes will outnumber"

Imam Ash-Shafi'ie says:

من تفقه في بطون الكتب ضيع الأحكام ومن كان شيخه كتابه كان خطؤه أكثر من صوابه

ENGLISH:

“Whomever takes from the books will destroy the ahkaam and whomever takes his books as his shaykh, his mistakes will outnumber his sawaab!"

NEDERLANDS:

"Wie uit boeken leert zal de ahkam vernietigen en wien's "Shaykh" zijn boek is, zijn fouten (khataa) zullen zijn goedheid (sawaab) overtreffen!"
