"Allaah is sufficient for me"

Ibn Abi Dunya writes:

عن ابن شوذب قال‏:‏ لما ألقي يوسف عليه السلام في الجب قال‏:‏ حسبي الله ونعم الوكيل‏‏

ENGLISH:

Ibn Shu'adhb said: "When Yusuf was (thrown) into the well, he said: Hasbi Allaah, wa nia'mal wakeel!" (Allaah is sufficient for me, and He is the best of protectors).

NEDERLANDS:

Ibn Shu'dhb heeft gezegd: "Toen Yusuf in de put werd (gegooid), zei hij: Hasbi Allaah, wa nia'mal wakeel! (Allah is genoeg voor mij, en Hij is de beste waker).
