"My opinion is correct but ..."

Imam Al-Shafi'ee said:

قال الإمام الشافعي رحمه الله : رأيي صواب يحتمل الخطأ ، ورأي غيري خطأ يحتمل الصواب

ENGLISH:

"My opinion is correct but it is possible that it may be wrong and the opinion of the others (thos who disagree with me) is wrong but it is possible that it may be correct".

NEDERLANDS:

"Mijn mening is goed, maar het kan zijn het fout is en de mening van anderen (degenen die mij tegenspreken) is fout, maar het kan zijn dat het goed is".
