"And none is sought help save Him"

Imam Al-Subki (756 H) said:

وإنما جاء هذا في إياك نعبد وإياك نستعين ^ للعلم بأنه لا يعبد غير الله ولا يستعان غيره

ENGLISH:

"And, the same thing is mentioned in the verse: "You alone do we worship, and from You alone do we seek help"; since it is certain that none is able to be worshipped except Allah and none is sought help save Him".

NEDERLANDS:

"En hetzelfde is vermeldt in de vers: "U alleen aanbidden wij en U alleen vragen wij om hulp" – want niemand het recht heeft om aanbeden te worden behalve Allah en niemand’s hulp mag gezocht worden behalve Allah".
