"He would have gathered the warriors of Badr"

Abul Husain al-Asadi said:

إن أحدهم ليفتي في المسألة ولو وردت على عمر لجمع لها أهل بدر

ENGLISH:

“Some of them pass verdicts in an issue, the like of which, if it were to have been faced by ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, then he would have gathered the warriors of Badr (to pass a verdict)!”

NEDERLANDS:

"Sommigen van hen geven fatawa in bepaalde masa'el, dat als Umar daarmee geconfronteerd zou worden hij eerst de strijders van Badr zou bijeenvergaderen!"
