"Your portion in this world"

"And seek, with that which Allah has bestowed on you, the home of the Hereafter, and forget not your portion in this world". [Al-Qur'an 28:77].

Imam al-Qurtubi said:

أراد بنصيبه الكفن فهذا وعظ متصل ; كأنهم قالوا : لا تنس أنك تترك جميع مالك إلا نصيبك هذا الذي هو الكفن

ENGLISH:

"And it was said that the Words: "your portion in this world", are referring to the coffin! ... They implied we should not forget that we will be leaving everything behind except our "portion", which is our coffin".

NEDERLANDS:

"Er was gezegd dat met "uw deel in de wereld" de doodskleed wordt bedoeld ... Zij zeiden als het ware: "Vergeet niet dat u al uw bezittingen achter zult laten behalve uw "deel" en is de doodskleed".
